How KidSport Works

Eligible families can apply online for a support grant. The grant is intended to help with the costs of registration fees and equipment. An average grant is about $250.

Families without the money needed to put their kids into sports can now turn to KidSport of Barrie & Simcoe County. Part of KidSport Ontario, we are committed to helping our kids overcome the social and economic barriers that keep them out of organized sport. We do this through a grant that helps with the cost of registration fees and enrollment.
